Iain H Williams

Iain H. Williams is a Lancashire-born artist renowned for his vibrant abstract paintings that explore expressive mark-making and dynamic compositions. His work melds urban influences with contemporary imagery, creating a bold visual language unique to his style. Iain's recent work embraces negative space, creating minimalistic yet dynamic compositions that highlight his energetic, expressive style.

Majam Wouda  

Marjan Wouda, a Dutch-born sculptor, is known for her expressive animal forms that explore the human experience. After growing up on a dairy farm in Aduard, Netherlands, she moved to England to study art, earning a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art (Sculpture). Her sculptures, inspired by nursery rhymes and stories, use animals as metaphors for human narratives, ranging from intimate works in various materials to large welded steel constructions.

Simon Blackley

Simon Blackley is a Lancashire-based artist who, after a 30-year hiatus, returned to painting in 2018. His work primarily features urban landscapes and portraits, often highlighting subjects that find beauty in overlooked aspects of city life. Blackley's creative journey began with photo modification and blurography, eventually transitioning to painting where he combines oil and acrylics to create layered, dynamic compositions. His art has been exhibited in various venues, including the Garstang Arts Centre, and he has appeared on Sky's 'Landscape Artist of the Year'.

Gavin Renshaw

Gavin Renshaw is a Lancashire-based artist known for incorporating classical painting with graphic design and graffiti. Born in Manchester, he studied Painting and Printmaking at the University of Central Lancashire. His work, inspired by the post-industrial landscape of Britain, often explores the region's industrial heritage in a modern context, such as his project on the steam engine 'Caliban' and its connection to the Courtauld Gallery by way of the former rayon factory complex once situated on the outskirts of Preston. The engine is now being restored after years of dereliction. Aside from his studio practice he paints large-scale murals for both public and private commissions.
